Volunteer Application

Print Thank you for your interest in joining the 2011 Rebuild Afghanistan Summit team. The procedure for becoming an official member of the 2011 Rebuild Afghanistan Summit planning team is described below. We have several exciting position listed. Please select the ones that you would like to volunteer for as your official position. This does not limit you from working with the other team members for planning the event. The organizing members work as a team and the positions listed below are used to make it clear to everyone who will be making the final decision about the specific responsibilities that are assigned to each position. The responsibilities for each position are listed on the Team Member Responsibilities page.

Many of the positions, numbered 1 to 23 below, have multiple openings such as the “publicity team volunteer” or “senior advisor to invitation team.” Some of the positions have only one opening and in case more than one person is interested in the same position we will decide through group-consensus who would be the best person to lead the various positions. There is room in the planning team for everyone, and our focus must be to organize a useful event to improve the lives of the people in Afghanistan.
